Fashion Writing Series Workshops

As part of the Cultural Program Fashion Writing Series

In its inaugural year, the Fashion Writing Series Workshops will cover a range of practical and contemporary topics focusing on writing, in all forms, in the fashion industry. Consisting of a morning and an afternoon session, the workshops will include four distinct topics with prominent industry experts. Refine your skills, build your industry knowledge, and network in an informal environment with the renowned hosts in between sessions.The workshops will be moderated by freelance writer and curator, Alison Kubler.

Morning Session (9:30am – 1pm)
Workshop 1: ‘Be a Better Fashion Blogger’ with Janice Breen Burns, Founder and Editor, Voxfrock
Workshop 2: ‘Pitch Perfect’  with Alison Kubler, Freelance Writer and Curator.

Afternoon Session (1:30pm – 5pm)
Workshop 1: ‘Standing Out In a Digital World’ with Wendy Syfret, Editor i-D Australia/NZ
Workshop 2: ‘How to navigate the world of independent publishing’ with Laura Bannister, Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder, Museum and Matthew Bannister, Creative Director and Fashion Editor of Museum Magazine.

Attendees may purchase tickets for both workshops as a package deal, or either session individually.
