Asher Keddie is a critically acclaimed actress who has featured on Australian screens since she was 10 years old. She began her career in the television series Five Mile Creek in the mid 1980s, and made her big break in 2004 starring as Julia Jackson in the television series Love My Way.
Asher achieved wide recognition and multiple award nominations for her role in the television series Offspring between 2011-2015. Her stylish character Nina Proudman was described by Harlequin Belle designer Andrew Sands as “Australia’s Carrie Bradshaw.”
Asher also received several nominations for playing Ita Buttrose in the movie Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo, which followed the the story of Buttrose’s rise to success as the editor of Cleo magazine. For her role, Asher won the 2012 AACTA award for Best Performance. She has won seven Logies across her stellar career, including the Gold Logie in 2013.
