Over the last 20 years, Jackie has firmly established her position as an industry innovator. A brand expert, Jackie has a strong strategic ability to build and develop both exciting products and passionate audiences in an ever-evolving media landscape.
As the inaugural editor of marie claire Australia, Jackie led the title to the heights of success before being appointed Group Publisher of the Fashion and Health titles at Pacific Magazines in November 2014. In April 2016, Jackie was promoted to General Manager of Fashion, Beauty, and Health, overseeing marie claire, InStyle, Women’s Health and Men’s Health, along with market-leading e-commerce and digital platforms, BEAUTYcrew and StyledBy marie claire. In addition, her portfolio also includes Pac+, the custom arm of Seven West Media which includes Virgin Voyeur magazine and Toyota Go Places.
Jackie has been inducted to the Australian Magazines Awards’ Hall of Fame and has won Editor of the Year at Australia’s most prestigious magazine awards. She is called upon to present her expertise on the international stage and is often an advisor for best practice implementation.
A strong campaigner for women’s rights, Jackie is heavily invested in making a difference to the lives of Australian women; raising awareness and pushing boundaries through award-winning campaigns about issues such as heart health, domestic violence and depression. Jackie has heightened awareness of Australian female athletes through Women’s Health’s ‘I Support Women in Sport’ awards and has placed the need for paid maternity leave, gender pay equality, and marriage equality firmly on the political agenda.
Jackie is a regular personality on local media, appearing on the Seven Network’s Sunrise (Australia’s number one breakfast show) and bringing her ‘Frankly Speaking’ interviews to Seven’s successful Sunday Night news and entertainment show, as well as in the pages of marie claire.
She continues to juggle her many roles – as mother, manager, TV personality, journalist, businesswoman, author, and social media enthusiast.
